Study Abroad Experience 

During my first 3 years at UIUC, I got the opportunity to do a short-term study abroad program. My freshman year I studied abroad in various places within Panama. There we studied agricultural systems and how they vary from those in the United States. My sophomore year I got to go to Rome, Italy. There we studied leadership and its roles in society. At the beginning of my senior year, I went to Switzerland for the IFAJ Congress where we learned about agricultural journalism and networked with international journalists.
